User Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to delete the personal information that Tokkae (“Tokkae”) holds about you and how to revoke our application’s access to your Facebook account. For the full description of what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.

Option 1 — Delete from inside Tokkae

  1. Open the Tokkae app or sign in at tokkae.com.
  2. Go to Account → Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

When you delete your account, we erase your profile, shop data (if you are a seller), product catalog, cart, addresses, and connected channel credentials within 30 days. Conversation logs tied to the account are erased within 90 days. Backups are purged on their normal rotation schedule (no longer than 12 months).

Option 2 — Email request

If you cannot access the app, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:

  • The email address or phone number associated with your Tokkae account.
  • The Facebook Page ID or Telegram bot username if you connected either channel as a seller.
  • A short note confirming you are the account owner or a person with a legal right to request deletion on their behalf.

We verify the identity of the requester before processing the deletion. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete, normally within 30 days.

Option 3 — Revoke from Facebook

You can remove Tokkae from your Facebook account at any time. This immediately terminates our ability to read messages from your Page or send replies on your behalf.

  1. Open Facebook Settings → Business Integrations.
  2. Find “Tokkae” in the list.
  3. Select it and choose Remove.

Removing the integration from Facebook revokes our access token. If you want us to also delete the conversation history and seller profile we already hold, complete Option 1 or Option 2 above.

For buyers who messaged a seller

If you are a buyer who messaged a Tokkae seller through Facebook Messenger or Telegram and you want your conversation data deleted, email us at [email protected] with the seller’s shop URL and the approximate date of the conversation so we can locate the records.

Waitlist signups

If you joined our waitlist and no longer wish to receive launch notifications, email [email protected] with the subject “Remove from waitlist” and the email address you used to sign up. We remove waitlist entries within 7 days.

What is retained after deletion

After deletion we retain only information we are required to keep for legal, tax, or security purposes (for example, records related to completed transactions for statutory accounting periods, and anti-abuse signals). Retained information is stored separately and is not used for any other purpose.
